I went to Hyde Nightclub in Hollywood last night with my crew. As I'm in the DJ booth, my friend turns to me and says is that Keyshia Cole? I look to my right and I see a beautiful woman on her phone checking her Instagram and talking to her friend in the VIP next to me and to my surprise it was (with no security) Keyshia Cole. I have always had the biggest crush in the world on Keyshia Cole and I love her music. So... as I stand there in shock I try to convince myself to approach her so I can introduce myself to her and let her know who I am. I stand there for a few minutes, the I go for it. At this point I'm nervous, my legs feel like noodles and my hart is beating fast. I tap Keyshia from the DJ booth and introduce myself, she smiles, shakes my hand and says "Nice to meet you" then says; Yes to taking a Picture with me. I was nervous at first but she made me feel relaxed by being so cool. I told her it was nice to met her and continued to party right next to her in the DJ Booth (Still in Shock) lol.
A few minutes later she buys Patron Shots for Me and my crew, we all toast and drink our shots. Now she's dancing on the couches and singing songs having a great time. She even started taking pictures of herself and her homegirl from her phone. I came to her VIP and we chilled for a little while and I introduced myself to her stylist (the only other person with her) and we all kicked it. It was great to see her having fun and not acting "Hollywood" like a lot of other Celebrities. She kept a smile on her face and never dissed any fans that came up to her last night for a picture or to say Hi to her. I'm happy for Keyshia, she's a successful Artist, Mother, Wife and Daughter and in this Industry that is not easy to be. Sometimes you meet the artist and sometimes you meet the person who's just like you. I was Blessed to have met both. I'll never forget Keyshia or that night. Kyshia will always have my support and love.
