New Music: French Montana (feat. The Weeknd) - 'Gifted'

The release of Bad Boy rapper French Montana's debut album 'Excuse My French'is approaching, so here's one of the more anticipated tracks off the album titled 'Gifted' featuring The Weeknd. French's singles are known to tear up the club but 'Gifted' takes the smooth sounding route as Abel apply's his vocals to the hook and French spits two fitting verses.
French has recruited quite a cast for his debut with Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg, Jeremih, Diddy, Ne-Yo, Rico Love, Lil Wayne, Drake, 2 Chainz, and many others all making appearances. Production is on point as well as Mike Will Made It, Young Chop, and Rico Love all made contributions to the project. Interesting part about it is French said he didn't have to pay for any of the features except for Max B, who appears on the intro track.
'Excuse My French' is set to release on May 21st. The album has been receiving nothing but praise from French's peers and Bad Boy CEO Diddy has even gone so far to call it the best album from a New York City rapper in 10 years. I can't back up that claim but I can guarantee there's more then a few club bangers on there. Look out for the 'Gifted' video to drop soon as it's already been shot. Pre-order on iTunes and take a listen below.

New Music: Joey Fatts - Pictiure Me Rollin (Produced by Cardo)

Today I was listening to The L.A. Leakers show on Shade45 with Justin Credible and I herd Sour Milk  playing a dope track that I had never herd before. I wasn't sure who the artist was but everything about the song I liked. So I hit Milk via text to ask him who it was and he replied letting me know it was Joey Fatts and the track is called Picture Me Rollin. Picture me rollin' is the first single release off of Joey Fatts Chipper Jones Volume 2 mixtape coming soon.  West Coast smooth flow that you can ride and chill to.

If you wanna here more from Joey Fatts you can Download his Chipper Jones EP

Tupac's Bodyguard, Frank Alexander Found Dead.

Got some very sad news this morning. RIP to Frank Alexander.
For those that know me know I've been a really big PAC fan since I was a kid. I've read books and watched every 2Pac Documentary there is. Frank was 2Pac's main Bodyguard while on Death Row. Frank was on duty but taken off assignment the night 2Pac was shot in Vegas. Frank was really close to PAC and was one of his best friends. Frank was one of the only people to speak out against Pac's death and he also wrote a book called "Got Your Back" dedicated to 2Pac. While he was not responsible for 2Pac’s death, as his bodyguard, it is not something he ever got over. From what I have heard, and it isn’t confirmed, he died from a single self inflicted gun shot wound to the head. He was found dead in Cali.
God Bless his soul.
